After a light, early morning breakfast on August 24, 2012, at Xakanaxa Camp, we took a safari vehicle for one last birding/big game expedition in Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. Brad photographed an Arrow-marked Babbler, Turdoides jardineii, as it perched on a branch. White, arrow-like streaks decorate the upper- and underparts of this brownish-colored bird. The iris of this individual is orange. Temperatures were edging up into the upper 70's on this clear day.
