During the late afternoon of August 21, 2012, we left Nxamaseri Island Lodge (Maun, Botswana) by boat and headed to the lagoon and solid ground where we boarded a safari vehicle to look for additional species. Brad photographed an Ashy Flycatcher, Muscicapa caerulenscens, to show this species' blue-gray coloration, white eyebrow, white eye-ring, and black lores. Temperatures were in the upper 80's with clear blue skies.
