During the afternoon of August 23, 2012, after a much needed siesta and some refreshing snacks and tea, we headed out to bird and look for big game on the Moremi Game Reserve (Botswana) from Xakanaxa Camp. Brad photographed a Cape Wagtail (Motacilla capensis) as it walked on the ground. Northern races lack a broad, black breast-band. Upperparts are a grayish-brown color. A prominent white supercilium is present. Temperatures were in the mid-90's on this clear day with blue skies.
