After a light, early morning breakfast on August 24, 2012, at Xakanaxa Camp, we took a safari vehicle for one last birding/big game expedition in Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. After birding for several hours, we headed back to camp for brunch before flying to Livingstone, Zambia. Brad photographed a Crested Barbet, Trachyphonus vaillantii, that was hanging around the dining area. Temperatures were in the low 80's on this clear day.
