Brad took this closeup of a Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) as it stood near a grove of trees the morning of August 23, 2012. We were driving around the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana with our group and guides (VENT and local) in a safari vehicle looking for big game and birds. Temperatures were in the low 80's on this sunny morning with clear skies.
