We photographed this Vervet Monkey, Cercipothecus sethiops, while it hung around our chalet's veranda at Nxamaseri Island Lodge (Maun, Botswana) after lunch on August 21, 2012. With its silvery-gray body and black face, it sat there smiling at us (probably waiting for us to leave so it could explore our chalet). The weather was warm with temperatures nearing 90's and clear blue skies.
