Late in the afternoon on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, we went birding on the Moremi Game Reserve with our group and guides (VENT and local) in a safari vehicle. We were heading for our "sundowner" when terrified Impala ran out of the bush coming at us in all directions followed by a pack of African Wild Dogs. Brad took this photo of one of the Wild Dogs (Lycaon pictus) as it watched a female leopard that the dog pack had treed. Temperatures were in the low 90's.
