Brad photographed a Greater Honeyguide, Indicator indicator, that was perched above us. We'd left Nxamaseri Lodge (Botswana) by boat early in the morning on August 21, 2012, and birded the floodplains and islands in the area. This female had a yellow shoulder patch, white outer tail feathers, and a pale patch on the ear coverts. The weather was warm with temperatures in the mid-80's and clear blue skies.
