We returned to Xakanaxa Camp (Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana) for a late morning brunch after doing some early morning birding and looking for big game on August 23, 2012. I photographed Joanne outside our tent to show the setup. Our fan, which only ran during daylight hours since any electricity that we had was generated by solar cells, can be seen in the upper middle portion of the photo. The area outside the tents was decorated with sculptured animals crafted by local artisans. Temperatures were edging upward toward the high 80's with clear blue skies.
