After a light, early morning breakfast on August 24, 2012, at Xakanaxa Camp, we took a safari vehicle for one last birding/big game expedition in Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. Brad photographed a huge, massive-billed, Lappet-faced Vulture, Torgos tracheliotus, showing its bare crimson-colored facial skin, a massive yellowish-colored bill, and brown ruff feathers. Temperatures were edging up into the upper 70's on this clear day.
