We were taken by safari vehicle to Moremi Game Reserve and from there to Xakanaxa Camp (Maun, Botswana) the afternoon of August 22, 2012. A thatched roof covered the reception building. Moremi is a 1,900 square mile National Park located in Botswana on the eastern side of the Okavango Delta. Plenty of savannah game and bird-filled lagoons are found here. Rare leopards inhabit the thickly wooded areas. Temperatures were in the low 90's on this sunny afternoon.
