During the late afternoon of August 21, 2012, we left Nxamaseri Island Lodge (Maun, Botswana) by boat and headed to the lagoon and solid ground where we boarded a safari vehicle to look for additional species. This is a photo of the covered safari vehicle that we used when not on foot. Temperatures were close to 90 degrees with clear blue skies.
