After a light, early morning breakfast on August 24, 2012, at Xakanaxa Camp, we took a safari vehicle for one last birding/big game expedition in Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. Brad photographed a Rattling Cisticola, Cisticola chiniana, that was buried deep in the grass. This species is best identified by habitat, behavior, and song because of its similarity to other Cisticola species. Temperatures were in the low 70's on this clear day.
