After brunch on August 23, 2012, we birded around Xakanaxa Camp (Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana). Brad photographed a Tawny-flanked Prinia, Prinia subflava, perched in a tree near the camp's reception area. Underparts are whitish with tawny-colored flanks. The long tail is held in a near-vertical position. Sexes are similar. Temperatures were in the low 90's with clear blue skies.
