August 15, 2012, began with an early morning birding hike around Huab before packing and leaving for our drive to Okaukuejo Camp in Etosha National Park (Namibia). After breakfast, Brad and I took some photos around the lodge area. These Bare-cheeked Babblers, Turdoides gymnogenys, were busy jockeying for position at a bird feeding area near the lodge. Underparts are whitish, and upperparts and sides of the neck are brown or cinnamon colored. Temperatures were in the upper 60's on this overcast morning.
