Brad took a closeup shot of a Barn Owl (one of two that we saw) at Halali Camp late in the afternoon of August 16, 2012. The Barn Owl, Tyto alba, has a heart-shaped facial disc and whitish underparts which make it appear very pale. Temperatures were in the mid-80's.
