We were up early the morning of August 13, 2012, to do some birding while the temperatures were still low. I photographed Brad just after he got down from our four tier safari vehicle. Looks like he's ready for a full day of birding. The scarf turned out to be a great idea...a necessity to keep the dust out of one's nose and mouth! However, our cameras weren't so lucky. By the end of our journey in Namibia, turning the zoom lens Brad had for his camera became a two-person job. My Nikon refused to focus. Dust and grit....became camera destroyers. Temperatures on this partly cloudy morning were in the upper 60's.
