We drove back to Klein Okevi Waterhole after breakfast at Namutoni Camp on August 18, 2012. Brad photographed a Cape Turtle-Dove (Streptopelia capicola) and three Cape Glossy-Starlings, Lamprotornis nitens, standing near the waterhole. Bright orange eye-color, lack of a dark ear-patch, and deep blue-green feather coloration identify this fairly common glossy starling. Temperatures were in the upper 70's on this clear day.
