We drove back to Klein Okevi Waterhole after breakfast at Namutoni Camp on August 18, 2012. This female Chestnut Weaver (Ploceus rubiginosus) has a gray bill, dark brown upperparts, a fawn-colored breast and sides, and whitish underparts. The species can be found in thornveld in arid northwestern regions of Namibia and Botswana. The iris is orangish, and legs are gray. Temperatures were in the mid-70's on this clear day.
