We were driving along the Stinkwater Road on the eastern side of the Etosha Pan during the afternoon of August 18, 2012, when Brad photographed a Desert Cisticola, Cisticola aridulus. A dark subterminal band can be seen next to the white tipped tail when the tail is flared. Temperatures were in the mid-90's on this clear day.
