After lunch followed by a siesta on August 14, 2012, Brad and I walked to the Huab reception/dining area where we boarded our safari vehicle for late afternoon birding. Brad took a closeup photograph of a Cape Rock Hyrax (Dassie), Procavia capensis, to show its features. Temperatures were in the low 80's on this clear day.
