After birding and looking for big game at the Goas Waterhole in Etosha National Park (Namibia) the afternoon of August 17, 2012, we started driving toward Namutoni Camp (our base for the next two nights). This closeup shows another one of the Giraffes that we saw roaming and grazing on the thornveld. This individual seemed to be very curious about our presence. Temperatures were in the upper 80's on this beautiful day with clear blue skies.
