Brad photographed this face-to-face encounter of a charging Common Warthog, Phacochoerus africanus, with a Sable Antelope, Hippotragus niger, while we were driving through Bagani Mahangu Game Reserve in Namibia the afternoon of August 19, 2012. The snorting Common Warthog came charging with its tail raised. The Sable Antelope held its ground..... End of story. The warthog veered off and kept going. Temperatures were in the 90's on this clear day.
