Brad photographed this Springbok (Antidorcas marsupialis) at the waterhole at Okaukuejo Camp in Etosha National Park (Namibia) during the morning of August 16, 2012. This medium sized antelope has cinnamon-brown colored upperparts and creamy-white underparts which are separated by a dark reddish-brown band that runs horizontally from the foreleg to the hindleg. Both sexes have heavily-ridged, lyre-shaped horns (female's are a lot more slender). Temperatures were in the mid-60's with partly cloudy skies.
