Brad photographed this herd of Springbok (Antidorcas marsupialis) meandering across the grassland toward the waterhole at Okondeka in Etosha National Park (Namibia) during the morning of August 16, 2012. This medium sized antelope has cinnamon-brown colored upperparts and creamy-white underparts which are separated by a dark reddish-brown band that runs horizontally from the foreleg to the hindleg. Both sexes have heavily-ridged, lyre-shaped horns (female's are a lot more slender). Temperatures were in the upper 70's with partly cloudy skies.
