After birding and looking for big game at the Goas Waterhole in Etosha National Park (Namibia) the afternoon of August 17, 2012, we started driving toward Namutoni Camp (our base for the next two nights). Several termite mounds caught our eye. They varied in color from grayish to red. This one in the thornveld reminded us of a Greek God. Temperatures were in the upper 80's on this beautiful day with clear blue skies.
