Brad and I were driving in a safari vehicle around the Huab property during the late afternoon of August 12, 2012. Sitting on the top tier of the vehicle, we ended up taking a "beating" along the rocky "road". The scenery alone, however, was worth the trip. This photo shows an Oleander tree, Pachypodium leoni. Temperatures on this clear, sunny afternoon were in the upper 80's.
