After some early morning birding on August 12, 2012, along the Atlantic Coast in Swakopmund, we drove to the Swakopmund Airfield for our charter flight to Huab Conservation Area near Kamanjab, Namibia. Brad took this photograph as we took off to show some of the 'scenery' near Swakopmund. The green grass is part of the Rossmund Gold Course. Temperatures were in the low 70's on this sunny morning with partly cloudy skies.
