We were up early the morning of August 14, 2012, to do some birding while the temperatures were still low. I took this photo of Brad (on the left) as we were birding the dry Huab River bed. Jan, our local guide and owner of the Huab Conservation Area, is in the center of the photo. Temperatures on this partly cloudy morning were in the upper 60's.
