We took a birding hike around the cabins, spa, and pool area of the Huab Conservation area after breakfast on the morning of August 14, 2012. I snapped this shot of the pool which was very inviting considering that temperatures were already in the mid-80's on this clear morning. Some of the area's massive granite koppies with their deep gorges can be seen on the horizon.
