Here I am all bundled up with hat, heavy jacket, and facial scarf to brave our drive from Huab to Okaukuejo Camp in Etosha National Park on August 15, 2012. Temperatures were in the mid-60's on this clear, sunny afternoon. However, riding in a covered, open-sided safari vehicle made it feel like 40 degrees. Taking a scarf to cover my nose and mouth was a great idea because of the heavy dust along the roads during the dry season.
