Brad and I are standing at Etosha Lookout which is located on the southern, middle edge of the Etosha Pan near Halali Camp and Nuamses Waterhole. The pan makes up 23% of the total area of Etosha National Park in Namibia. Temperatures were in the upper 70's on this August 17, 2012, morning. Long sleeve shirts, long pants, face scarves, hats, and vests protected us from the sun, wind, and ever present dust.
