After a much needed siesta after lunch on August 14, 2012, Brad and I walked to the Huab reception/dining area where we boarded our safari vehicle for late afternoon birding. In a different tree from where we observed a Hoopoe buzzing an Owlet earlier in the afternoon, we saw another Pearl-spotted Owlet, Glaucidium perlatum, perched (giving the photographer the 'evil eye'). Temperatures were in the upper 80's on this clear, sunny day.
