We flew from Mokuti Lodge's airstrip in Etosha National Park to Rundu (Namibia) for the first leg of our flight to Botswana the morning of August 19, 2012. While our two planes were being refueled, I photographed a Pied Crow, Corvus albus, to show its white breast and collar which stand out against the rest of the bird's black feathers. Temperatures were in the mid-70's on this clear day.
