We were up early the morning of August 13, 2012, to do some birding while the temperatures were still low. We spotted a small flock of Rosy-faced Lovebirds, Agapornis roseicollis, as they flew in to perch. This species has a pale bill, a pink crown, and a peach-colored throat and upper breast. The rump is a bright blue color. The rest of the bird is colored with various shades of green. Temperatures on this partly cloudy morning were in the upper 60's.
