After breakfast on August 14, 2012, and some brief "down-time" in Huab's reception/dining area, we took a walk around the property to look for Ruppell's Parrots, Poicephalus rueppellii. This pair was busy on-nest so we made sure to keep our distance and not disturb them. The head is gray. Female's have a blue back, belly and vent with yellow shoulders. Males lack the blue back. Both have yellow underwing coverts. Temperatures were in the low 80's on this clear morning.
