Brad photographed these Yellow-billed Storks feeding in a distant marshy area in Bagani Mahangu Game Reserve in Namibia the afternoon of August 19, 2012. We had stopped for a picnic lunch and were kept busy photographing the various species feeding in the area. The Yellow-billed Stork, Mycteria ibis, has all-white plumage with wings edged in black. The face, forehead, and legs are red. The bill is yellow. Temperatures were in the 90's on this clear day.
