After breakfast at Namutoni Camp on August 18, 2012, we drove back to Klein Okevi Waterhole for additional birding. Brad photographed this brightly colored, male Yellow Canary (Crithagra flaviventris) as it perched near our vehicle. Intergrades in color occur from the palest, yellowest males with bright yellow rumps in the northwest to the darkest males with greenish rumps in the southeast. Temperatures were in the mid-80's on this clear day.
