The Rossmund Golf Course in Swakopmund was our last birding stop during the afternoon of August 11, 2012. Brad photographed this female Pririt Batis (Batis pririt) as it perched nearby. The throat and breast of the female are a pale buff color. The head and back are gray. A black mask surrounds a yellow eye and extends to the nape. Underparts are white. Temperatures were in the upper 60's on this partly cloudy afternoon.
