We birded the Walvis Bay Lagoon area during the morning of August 10, 2012. Brad photographed this White-fronted Plover (Charadrius marginatus) as it ran along the beach. The white hind-neck collar, white underparts, and buff-colored wash to the breast are visible in this photo. Temperatures were in the mid-60's on this overcast morning.
