Brad photographed an African Pied Wagtail (Motacilla aguimp) as it perched on a branch overlooking the shoreline of the Zambezi River above Victoria Falls the morning of August 25, 2012. We were out on an early morning boat trip to bird and look for big game in the National Park areas along the shoreline. Temperatures on this sunny day were in the upper 60's. The plumage of this bird is black and white with a large white panel showing on the wing. A long, crisp white supercilium and a wide black chest band are present.
