After a busy morning on August 25, 2012, of birding and boating on the Zambezi River above the Royal Livingstone Hotel and Victoria Falls, Brad and I took a break and sat outside enjoying the river scenery and the animals. Lunch in the bar area of the Royal Livingstone Hotel followed. We ordered at noon and were served at 1:15 PM.....glacial service. However, this picture of two African Hoopoes caught my eye (and also reminded me that I was hungry). Temperatures on this sunny day were in the low 90's.
