After returning from our boat trip to bird along the shorline areas of Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park on the Zambezi River above Victoria Falls, Joanne and I joined our VENT guide, Geoff, for some additional birding on the grounds of The Royal Livingstone Hotel. I photographed this stylized sculpture of a hippo while we were birding the grounds. Temperatures on this sunny day (August 25, 2012) were in the low 80's.
