Our group met up late in the afternoon on August 24, 2012, to bird during a walk to Victoria Falls along the grounds of the Royal Livingstone Hotel which is located in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia. Victoria Falls is also located in the same park. We entered the falls via the Eastern Cataract (Zambian side). We walked along the escarpment facing the falls. The volume of water flowing over the falls is less during the dry season. Temperatures were in the upper 80's on this bright, sunny day with clear blue skies.
