On August 25, 2012, we left the Royal Livingstone Hotel in a safari vehicle and drove to a different entrance to Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park for a late afternoon birding and big game expedition. Brad photographed a White-browed Sparrow-Weaver, Plocepasser mahali, that was foraging on the ground. Temperatures on this sunny day were in the low 90's. The spotted race seen here is typically found in and around Zimbabwe.
