This picture was taken from the back deck of the Clipper Adventurer on our first day at sea, December 20, 2006. We were south bound in the Drake Sea. The weather was sunny with temperatures in the low 50's. The Northern (Hall's) Giant-Petrel is identified by the reddish tip to its yellow bill.
