This picture was taken from the side of the Clipper Adventurer on the Promenade Deck on our first day at sea, December 20, 2006. We were south bound in the Drake Sea. The weather was sunny with temperatures in the low 50's. This species' flight is fast and swallow-like. Its tail is square to slightly notched with feet protruding beyond its tail in flight. Rump patch is U-shaped.
