This photograph of a Light-mantled Albatross was taken while we were Zodiac cruising in the vicinity of Godthul, South Georgia, on the morning of December 31, 2006. The temperature was in the low 30's with light snow showers. This was our fifteenth Zodiac trip. This cold water albatross is a spectacular species.
