This photograph was taken during a hike that we took before breakfast on trails near the Bird's Eye View Lodge which is located in the Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary in Belize. Our guide was successful in scheduling two hikes on this cloudy, rainy day. Even though it was the dry season, we experienced heavy, intermittent rain. Temperatures were in the mid-70's.
