Brad took this photograph of a Planalto Tyrannulet (Phyllomyias fasciatus) while we were birding the escarpment at Colinhas do São Francisco during the morning of October 8, 2011. This bird has a short-stubby black bill, a white supercilium, grayish-yellow underparts, two grayish-yellow-tinged wingbars, and a white throat. Its crown is grayer than its mantle. Temperatures were in the 70's on this humid, overcast morning.
